Hornby have just made some surprise new announcements for their TT:120 Scale range for July 2026, which are all scheduled for release later this year!

Amongst the new range are a duo of new Class 66 locomotives in colourful liveries, 'Flying Scotsman' in it's current preservation guise, new LNER Toad Brake Vans and 21T Minerals.

On top of this, Hornby have also unveiled TWO NEWLY TOOLED WAGONS - the classic LMS Standard 20 Ton Brake Van and massive 100T TEA tanker wagons - must have items for many eras that we're glad to see join the growing TT:120 Range!

NEW TOOLING LMS STANDARD 20T BRAKE VAN

As part of this announcement, Hornby have revealed one of two newly tooled TT:120 models in the form of the iconic LMS Standard 20 Ton Brake Van! This is a great 'gap-filler' for the range and will certainly prove popular for modellers for many eras as these vehicles were used all the way up until the early 1990s. These compliment Hornby's new LMS Black 5 as well as their various other BR era locomotives.

NEW TOOLING TEA 100T TANK WAGONS

We're also pleased to see another new tooling announced today in the form of the gargantuan 100 Ton TEA Tanker Wagon! This first batch includes three liveries - showcasing these popular tankers for the first time in TT:120 in BP, Shell and Esso liveries. These big tankers are perfect to pair with Hornby's Class 31 and Class 37 diesel locomotives!

NEW LIVERY CLASS A3 'FLYING SCOTSMAN'

Hornby have also unveiled a new edition of their popular TT:120 Scale LNER Class A3 4-6-2 steam locomotive depicting the indomitable 60103 'Flying Scotsman' in it's current preservation guise of BR green with late crest.

NEW BATCH CLASS 66 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVES

Also new in this announcement are a duo of GBRailfreight Class 66 diesel locomotives! These two new models cover some of the more unusual and colourful liveries that the class have been seen in over the years including the 'Metronet/ Tube Renewal' livery and Maritime blue.

NEW BATCH 21 TON STEEL MINERAL WAGONS

Hornby have also announced a new run of their very popular 21 Ton Steel Mineral Hopper Wagons in these popular colour schemes. Available as singles or three packs!

NEW BATCH LNER TOAD BRAKE VANS

Finally, this new range is wrapped up with a re-run of the LNER 'Toad E' design brake van, which proved to be very popular upon first release and sold out very quickly! There are two new variations to choose from here in LNER bauxite and BR grey - which are perfect to pair with Hornby's LNER Class J50 steam locomotives.
