History:
‘TEA’ bogie tank wagons were built across several decades from the 1960s through to the 2000s and many examples are still in use today. As well as the many private oil companies, EWS and VTG Rail have been large-scale users of the type. Esso is just one example of many that have seen use on trains from Fawley on the south coast to Grangemouth in Scotland.
