Across the three days we’ll have 10% off all pre-owned items in store, the return of our hugely popular outdoor ‘backyard’ rummage sale, an enhanced Second Hand Sunday, and even FREE home delivery available for qualifying in-store purchases.

10% OFF ALL Pre-Owned – All Weekend!

For the entirety of the event, we’re giving you 10% OFF every pre-owned item in our flagship store.

Our second-hand stock covers a huge variety of gauges, manufacturers and eras, with everything from locomotives, coaches and wagons to accessories, diecast and collectables passing through the department.

And because new collections arrive with us constantly, you never quite know what you’ll find.

The 10% discount will run throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so it’s a particularly good opportunity to have a proper browse through the hundreds of pre-owned items available around the store.

The Outdoor Rummage Sale Returns!

It wouldn’t be a Rails in-store extravaganza without a rummage!

Our ever-popular outdoor ‘backyard’ rummage sale will return on Friday and Saturday only, bringing another selection of models, accessories, spares, projects and miscellaneous railway goodies outside for customers to dig through.

Part of the fun is that the stock can be incredibly varied – and there are often some brilliant bargains hiding amongst it.

If you love a good rummage and the thrill of finding something unexpected, make sure you visit us on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th September.

Second Hand Sunday – Enhanced for the Event

Sunday is already one of our favourite days for pre-owned at Rails, but for the Autumn Extravaganza we’re making Second Hand Sunday even bigger.

We’ll have an enhanced offering of freshly processed pre-owned stock, giving Sunday visitors the chance to be among the first to browse some of the latest additions to our second-hand department.

Combined with the 10% off all pre-owned items, Sunday 6th September should be a particularly good day to visit if second-hand models are your thing.

Remember, many pre-owned items are one-offs – once somebody buys them, they’re gone!

Planning on making a day of it but don’t fancy carrying your purchases home?

Spend more than £50 in store during the event and, if you prefer, we’ll arrange FREE home delivery for your purchases.

That means you can browse, buy and enjoy the day without worrying about getting a larger haul back home with you.

It’s especially handy if you’re travelling to Sheffield by train or public transport – or if your rummage finds turn out to be rather more substantial than expected!
