We’re looking for Christmas Temporary Warehouse Team Members to join our busy team at Rails of Sheffield!

Christmas is our busiest time of year, and we need reliable, hardworking people to help keep stock moving, customer orders picked accurately and our warehouse running smoothly throughout the festive period.

📍 Location: Callywhite Lane, Dronfield
📅 Contract: 28 September 2026 – 31 January 2027
💷 Pay: National Minimum Wage
⭐ Potential opportunity to become permanent

🕒 FULL-TIME & PART-TIME AVAILABLE

Full-Time: 5 days out of 7
Part-Time: 3 days out of 7

You’ll work on a rota across Monday to Sunday, with shifts depending on business needs, including:

⏰ 6:00am – 2:00pm
⏰ 8:00am – 4:00pm
⏰ 9:00am – 5:00pm

During particularly busy periods, later shifts finishing up to 9:00pm may also be required. Bank holiday working may also be required.

We’re therefore looking for people who can be flexible with working days and shift times.

📦 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Using warehouse systems and scanners
• Receiving, moving and storing stock safely
• Checking deliveries and reporting any discrepancies
• Helping with stock counts and keeping stock organised
• Working as part of our busy Warehouse Team
• Keeping warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
• Supporting our Packing & Dispatch Team when required – full training will be provided

We’re looking for people who are:

✔ Reliable, punctual and hardworking
✔ Accurate with great attention to detail
✔ Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse
✔ Good team players with a positive attitude
✔ Able to follow processes and work towards daily targets
✔ Comfortable with manual handling and being on their feet for extended periods
✔ Flexible with working days and shift times

Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is helpful, but not essential – full training will be provided.

These roles are initially temporary to support our busy Christmas period. However, there may be opportunities to join Rails permanently at the end of the contract, depending on ongoing business needs and individual performance.

• Preparing UK and international parcels for dispatch
• Working as part of our busy Packing & Dispatch Team
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
• Supporting warehouse activities when required – full training will be provided
