EXCLUSIVE TO RAILS OF SHEFFIELD
Our second TT wagon in a range of liveries exclusive to Rails of Sheffield, commemorating collieries and industries from within the Sheffield area.
Each vehicle is a strictly limited edition of 100 pieces.
The Tinsley Park Colliery company owned a number of mines to the east of Sheffield City Centre, initially in the Darnall and Tinsley areas, but stretching further afield as they acquired other collieries in the area. The colliery at Kilnhurst opened as early as 1858, coming into ownership by the Tinsley Park company in the 1930s. Following nationalisation and modernisation, the colliery finally closed (as part of the Manvers Main complex) in 1989.
TT:120 is the first British "true-to-scale" scale - 1/120 scale models running on 1/120 scale/gauge track.
