Product Description

This model is for a coal merchant from Somerset and Devon, Small & Sons, once based in Taunton (Thornfalcon, on the Chard branch) and Tiverton. They may have been regionally-based but in their time would have travelled around the network.

Our new 7 plank models have many great features. With some super-fine detailing on the wagon body, including a finer wall thickness, metal-tyred wheels, fine brake rigging in line with the wheels and some great livery detail, the new 5 and 7 plank wagons are a real step up in quality.
