Oxford Diecast 76105012 Ford Anglia Monaco Red

The Ford Motor Company introduced their fourth generation of the Anglia name, the 105E, in 1959 characterised by its unique backward slanting rear window. When it ceased manufacture in 1967, over 1 million cars had rolled off its Dagenham production line.  It came in various body options and our Oxford’s two-door saloon version is based on what Ford described as a small family car.  It sported a 997 cc engine and was capable of a top speed of 73.8 mph, accelerating from 0-60 in 26.9 seconds. With fuel consumption of 41 miles per gallon, it cost £610 on the road.

Here we see this model dressed in a vibrant red colour scheme with a smart white flash along the sides. The interior seating, dashboard and steering wheel are also red. Registered HJN 662D, our model dates back to 1966. A silver trim to the wheels, grille and bumpers also includes a final flourish with the Ford Anglia ‘Deluxe’ signature across the boot.
