Train set consisting of a tank locomotive, a baggage car, a 1st and a 2nd class car. 3 axles on the locomotive powered directly or through side rods. Built-in high-efficiency propulsion for operation with AC power, DC power or Märklin DELTA/Digital. Built-in smoke generator. The smoke generator can be turned on and off in digital operation (it is on constantly in conventional operation). Built-in electronic circuit for generating the sound effects of the locomotive; these sound effects vary with the speed of the locomotive. This sound effects electronic circuit is usable only in digital operation. In addition, the sound of a locomotive whistle or a locomotive bell can be turned on in digital operation. In conventional operation the brightness of the headlights varies with amount of voltage present in the track. The locomotive model is complemented by a baggage car, a 1st class and a 2nd class three-axle compartment car with built-in LED interior lighting that works in the Digital system. The compartment doors can be opened. Figures of a locomotive engineer and a fireman as well as 8 seated passengers are included with this set. Length over buffers 167.0 cm / 65-3/4*. Minimum radius for operation is 1,020 mm / 40-5/32*.
