Product Description

Model
1:76 Scale model produced in finely detailed High Quality Diecast Metal.

The Borough of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire took delivery of this smart Leyland FK9 semi-enclosed limousine pump escape in September 1939, during an era when many fire brigades were still buying open topped fire engines. It was equipped with a 50 ft wheeled escape ladder and a 500 gallon per minute midships pump representing the epitome of fire engine design in the months leading up to the start of World War 2.

This model is decorated in red and black with lots of silver chrome coachlines to mudguards and bonnet. Registered DAC 525, this model incorporates satin black seating with a silver grey floor, satin black masked roof front and sides and black chassis. The small hoses are given a black finish, rear hoses are red and the main hoses are coloured white while the main hose attachments and hose reel are silver. Note too the red out of silver Leyland badge above the radiator and the starting handle.
