As modellers know, being able to run in or test a loco on the workbench with our Rolling Road rather then needing to do it on the layout is a delight... however, as locomotives come in many sizes, and those in larger or very small scales can get a wee bit harder to handle, occasionally positioning roller sets for pony trucks, bogies and larger tenders can also become a little tedious... and we also want to make that simpler for you.

SO we have created our Support Set range.

Available in all popular gauges, these sets work with models of all sizes from huge articulated standard gauge locomotives to tiny narrow gauge engines. HO/OO or 16.5mm gauge, TT gauge and N gauge sets include two supports for pony trucks, one for 4 wheel bogies, one for standard tenders and one for extended or larger tenders.

O scale things are so much bigger, so we decided to treat this set a little differently, and rather than add significantly to the price for all to accommodate just a few modellers, we have split the set.

The standard O scale set covers most locos, but because O scale things are big, it leaves out the quite large and expensive to produce “Extended / Large tender” block which will only be needed for use with articulated US locomotives, which is available as a separate purchase. However, if you DO need one, please do not feel left out - If you buy the extended tender support at the same time as the Standard O scale set, you will qualify for a generous combined discount!
