This Power Petroleum 12T Tank Wagon 115 model is presented in the silver ‘Power’ livery from the early 20th century.
Bulk liquid in various forms such as petroleum, oil, and chemicals transported via wagons have been a perennial feature of British Railways, with a multitude of privately owned companies owning fleets of tanker wagons brandished in their own paint schemes.
Power Petroleum Company, formed in 1923 for the distribution of imported Russian oil, was no different, painting their wagons silver with green lettering.

History:
