Product Description

Expected Delivery 2025 (Subject to Change at Manufacturer's Discretion).

With our outstanding split headcode Class 37/0s now available and earning rave reviews we can finally confirm the liveries for the hotly anticipated centre headcode variants. Yet again these cover all the most popular and requested liveries and some interesting alternatives to the split headcode batch.

In response to requests from O gauge modellers, the new batch includes unnumbered BR Blue and Large Logo Blue locomotives, unbranded Railfreight Sector grey and Cornish china clay favourite 37196 Tre Pol and Pen in mid-1980s Railfreight Large Logo grey. New liveries include BR General grey and the much-requested InterCity ‘Swift’ livery applied to Scottish sleeper locomotives in the early-1990s. For post-privatisation era modellers we have also included 37248 in West Coast Railways red and a Network Rail yellow Class 97/3. Also featured in this new run of models is an exclusive special edition for Tower Models decorated in the popular mid-1990s Transrail Grey/Yellow livery.

As with the split headcode models, we have designed in a wide range of authentic detail variations across the different liveries, including three alternative nose end arrangements, cast or fabricated bogies, high intensity headlights, NRN radio aerials, steam heating equipment and different underframe tanks for locomotives with or without steam heating boilers. The models also feature an all-new bespoke body with improved grille, window and windscreen detail.

All models will be supplied DCC Ready with our new standard ‘plug and play’ decoder interface and an enticing selection of authentic lighting features, details and functions.

Standard features include:

  • Plug and Play ESU XL decoder interface
  • Eight separately switchable light functions (in DCC mode)
  • Cab lights
  • Tail lights and headcode panel lights
  • Illuminated fault lights in cab
  • Powered roof fan
