Dapol has been manufacturing model railway products — along with a variety of other models and toys — since 1983. Over the past 40-plus years we have used several different logos, some appearing exclusively on railway products, while others featured across wider product ranges produced during the time. Long-time Dapol enthusiasts and collectors may recognise several of the logos featured in this range from catalogues, packaging and products from years gone by.
Sometimes there was just a single logo in use, while at other points two or more appeared alongside each other, which hopefully explains some of the overlap in the date ranges you are about to see.
To celebrate a small part of Dapol’s history, we thought it would be fun to reproduce a selection of these classic logos on the sides of collectible model wagons for enthusiasts and collectors to enjoy.
