It's exciting times at Rails and we have several vacancies currently available to join our team.

Current Vacancies:

Mail order sales administrator
You will work in a busy fast paced environment your responsibilities will
include liaising with customers by phone and email, processing orders
offering help and advice and after sales care. A high level of customer
service is essential for this role. A good phone manner and excellent
typing skills are also required.


Product lister/photographer
You will be required to list products for sale primarily on our eBay site
and could be required to create or update products on our website.
Duties will include taking photographs of products and creating accurate
detailed content to describe the listings. Attention to detail and the
ability to work to deadlines is essential for this position.

Warehouse/Packing support
You will support the packing team by working as the link between the
warehouse and packing department to supply orders to individual
packing staff. You will be responsible for ensuring packing supplies are
always kept well stocked and available to team members to ensure they
have the correct tools to complete their role. You will also assist the
warehouse team with order picking.

Retail sales assistant
Your responsibilities will include liaising with customers in store to offer
help and advice to ensure they choose the correct products they wish to
purchase, and you will also be responsible for offering after sales care. A
high level of customer service is essential for this role. You will also deal
with customers by phone and email, so a good phone manner and
computer skills are required. Previous product knowledge of model
railways is an advantage.

Customer Service Technical support
The main purpose of this role is to offer advice and resolve
any technical problems customers may have with products purchased
from us. This may be by phone and or email. You will also handle
customer returns. All returns are sorted and tested on receipt. You will
be required to test and fit DCC decoders and Sound decoders including
speakers. You will be responsible for checking and testing out going
orders. Technical experience of Model railways is essential for this role.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skill are required.
