Dapol announced a number of new products at this past weekends TINGS show (The International N Gauge Show).

Many original GA drawings were used in the development of these accurate and authentic models. The locomotive has a diecast chassis with a coreless motor driving the rear wheels. To add compensation the centre driving wheels are sprung, the front pony truckis also sprung and operates on a cam so the model will negotiates R2 curves with ease. 



To portray these locomotives over their lifetime many details have been drawn up as follows:

Body:

  • Smokebox with/without cylinder steam pipes

  • Churchward taper buffers
  • Collett straight shank buffers
  • Tall vacuum pipe for early versions
  • Lower vacuum pipe for later period

  • Smokebox top mounted lamp bracket
  • Smokebox door mounted lamp bracket for BR period
  • Smokebox number plate for BR period
  • Highly detailed cab interior

Chassis:
  • Diecast Chassis - Split frames for live bearing pick-up

Electrical:
