There’s a particularly busy few weeks ahead from Hornby, with over 15 upcoming releases currently on our radar across OO Gauge and TT:120, all expected to arrive around late September and early October.
From brand-new locomotives and passenger stock to wagons, train sets and more, there’s a real mixture heading our way — and with so many releases due in a relatively short space of time, now’s a great opportunity to get your pre-orders sorted.
For TT:120 modellers, we're expecting to receive the highly anticipated Class 37 Coalfield Freight Train Set into stock very soon!
Over in OO Gauge, there’s a particularly strong steam line-up. Look out for new LNER Class B12 4-6-0 steam locomotives in either LNER green or BR black as well as new editions of the popular GWR Class 51xx Large Prarie in a duo of BR green colour schemes. On top of this we've got some commemorative specials of the LNER Class A4 and LMS Streamlined Coronation releasing as part of the "Great Railway Engineers" range complete with a limited edition figurine. Finally, we're also expecting a new edition of the GWR Castle Class depicting the iconic "Spitfire" in BR green - a special 90th anniversary edition.
On top of this we're also set to receive a duo of new Class 08/ Class 10 diesel shunters available in BR blue and BR/GER lined blue 'celebrity special' colour schemes.
There’s lots of rolling stock and other additions on the way too including new Railroad TEA tank wagons, Cil Engineers liverieds ZCV 'Tope' and 'Clam' vehicles as well as the LNER heritage Intercity liveried Mark 4 Driving Van Trailer which is perfect to pair with the previously released coaches and Class 91 in the same livery.
Finally, we're also expecting a couple of new arrivals from Corgi and Scalextric including a model of the amazing Ford Transit Supervan Mk1 and a De Havilland Mosquito aircraft in 1:72 Scale.
