Product Description

In 2008 Jarvis Owned Freight company "Fastline" took delivery of 5 Class 66/3 Locomotives for use on coal services from Daw Mill, Hatfield & Immingham to Power Stations at Ratcliffe-on-soar, Cottam & Ironbridge, 66301 was the first of this batch. This didn't last very long though with the Parent Company Jarvis going into Administration in 2010 and ceased trading alltogether. the Class 66/3s were put up for sale and were bought by Direct Rail Services "DRS" which they worked very reliably till 2022 when again the Class 66/3s changed hands to GBRailfreight "GBRF" where they are currently at work up and down the country to this day. 
The Class 66/3s were built to a more modern standard then the ones before them and featured a 3rd Body Side Door on one side and were more economical on fuel.
