We are delighted to announce that Rails of Sheffield is the first official founding partner of the Dronfield Playhouse!
The Playhouse at Dronfield is delighted to announce Rails of Sheffield as its first official Founding Partner, marking the beginning of a partnership built on shared family values, community investment and creating opportunities for local children and families.
The Playhouse at Dronfield is a new family destination transforming a former social club into a welcoming hub for the local community. Bringing a closed building back to life, it aims to revitalise this part of Dronfield with children’s play, an imaginative role play village, birthday parties, café facilities and community activities. With accessible sessions and opportunities for local organisations to come together, The Playhouse hopes to create an inclusive space where children, families and people of all ages can connect, play and make lasting memories.
Rails of Sheffield has pledged significant support towards the development of The Playhouse, helping bring to life a new family destination that will provide play opportunities, community activities and an inclusive space for people of all ages.
The partnership goes far beyond sponsorship. As a Founding Partner, Rails of Sheffield will play an active role in the development of The Playhouse, including the creation of a dedicated & Rails Toy Shop; within the role play village, inspired by their renowned Sheffield store and stocked with railway toys and play equipment.
"From our very first conversations it became clear that this was about much more than financial support. Rails of Sheffield is a family business with values that closely align with our own. Their belief in creating opportunities for families and investing back into the community makes them the perfect Founding Partner for The Playhouse."
As part of the partnership, Rails employees and their families will enjoy exclusive benefits, while the company will also play a key role in the official opening celebrations when The Playhouse welcomes its first visitors.
Rails of Sheffield's support will help The Playhouse continue developing a welcoming, inclusive venue that will offer children's play, birthday parties, community activities, accessible sessions, café facilities and opportunities for local organisations to come together.
The partnership reflects a shared ambition to make a lasting, positive impact within the local community. The Playhouse at Dronfield looks forward to working closely with Rails of Sheffield over the coming years and celebrating the exciting journey ahead together.
