Following on from our first 'Rails Rewind' email last week, here's Part 2 - dedicated to all of the new EXCLUSIVE products we released in 2025! 

Last year was a record one for our Rails Limited range, with all manner of new toolings and reliveries released across the year. There are still plenty to get your hands on as of right now - explore them all below.

One of our latest EXCLUSIVE releases, that came into stock just before Christmas is something very special... this tiny Rails of Sheffield shop! We've worked with Scenecraft to bring you this eye-catching OO Gauge low relief version of our iconic Chesterfield Road premises - so you can now add a little piece of Rails to your layout.

The Class 89 'Badger' has been one of our most highly anticipated releases ever and it's now in stock - in Intercity and GNER colour schemes! One more variation is set to arrive with us imminently - allowing you to bring this experimental BR beast to your layout for the first time.

Another highly anticipated new release was the all-new Dapol OO Gauge Class 88 Electro-Diesel locomotive! This modern era hybrid can now be yours in a selection of DRS colour schemes including the popular 'Refrigerated Rail... Cool Move' version!

We love to recreate the more unusual prototypes here at Rails - and there's nothing more unusual than a Gas Turbine loco! Available as the original '18100' or the later converted E1000/ E2001 electric locomotives - all in BR black with early emblem. You can currently save up to 29% off this fascinating model while stocks last.

Last year we also welcomed back the incredibly popular LNER Class A4 4-6-2 locomotive as part of our EXCLUSIVE Dapol Black Label Range! This stunning model includes DCC Sound pre-fitted, a working steam generator, full diecast construction, working lights and more!

Another new release from our Dapol Black Label Range was the selection of GWR Q13 Inspection Saloons in OO Gauge! This has to be one of the most detailed coaches EVER, with many external parts and full interiors modelled, even including painted sofas/ chairs/ tables etc - with full interior lighting too.

We said we liked to model unusual prototypes and here's another one - the one-off Derby Lightweight Battery Electric Multiple Unit- seen here in its later guise as "Test Unit Gemini" as seen at Derby RTC.

In 2025, we also welcomed back the wonderful Sonic Models OO Gauge GCR Robinson Class A5 4-6-2T steam locomotive to the range! This mighty tank engine is now available once again in popular GCR green, LNER green and BR black liveries.

Later in 2025, we welcomed back this popular Hattons/ Heljan partnership locomotive! The Class 28 Co-Bo is finally available again in a selection of new BR green and BR blue guises. We upgraded the model for 2025 including various refinements and DCC Sound versions for the first time ever.

We partnered with Cavalex Models in 2025 to bring you some EXCLUSIVE Class 60 diesels as part of our Rails Limited range and Railway Icons range. Three interesting options are available including 'Charles Francis Brush' in Railfreight triple grey, 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel' in GWR green and 'Sonia' in DB Steel on Steel liveries.

Another release from the latter part of 2025 was this exclusive version of the newly tooled LNER Class J52/2 saddle tank locomotive from Rapido Trains - depicting this unique 'Doncaster Works Yard' departmental black liveried example.

We frequently work with brands across the UK to bring you interesting wagons to run on your layout! We recently teamed up with Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity to bring you this eye-catching little van in OO Gauge. For you O Gauge modellers, we commissioned this special edition of Dapol's newly tooled Class J94 Austerity 0-6-0ST Steam locomotive depicting the unique WD150 'Warrington' in War Department green. Available pristine or weathered!

Another of our unique brand partnerships for 2025! We teamed up once again with our friends from Hendersons Relish to bring you these eye-catching goods vans available in both OO9 Narrow Gauge and N Gauge. Each one comes complete with a little Hendos bottle!

Moving over to N Gauge, we brought you these newly tooled Newton Chambers Car Transporter Vans - complete in both BR Eastern Region maroon and BR blue and grey too! Available as triple packs to recreate accurate trains.

Also now available in N Gauge are these newly tooled Vanwides and VEA Van Triple Packs from Sonic Models. These are available in all sorts of liveries including BR bauxite, Earles Cement and Railfreight red/grey.
