We've just received fresh stocks of Roundhouse's popular 'Peggie' 0-4-0 live steam locomotives, available for both 32mm and 45mm gauge.
Designed as a particularly accessible introduction to live steam, ' Peggie' combines straightforward operation with the character and charm that makes live steam such a rewarding part of the hobby.
Our latest arrivals include the eye-catching Yellow, Brunswick Green and Bronze Green variations, with plenty of other colours available across the wider range too. Perhaps best of all, these aren't mass-produced models - each Roundhouse locomotive is hand-built in small numbers at the company's workshop in Doncaster, giving these locomotives a genuine British-made quality and an extra sense of individuality.

We've also received fresh stocks of the much-loved Roundhouse 'Russell' 2-6-2T side tank locomotive in 32mm gauge, finished in its distinctive maroon livery.The model is based on the famous locomotive ' Russell', built by The Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd. in Leeds in 1906 and now preserved in working order on the Welsh Highland Railway in North Wales. With its distinctive side tanks and 2-6-2T wheel arrangement, 'Russell' is a particularly characterful addition to any large-scale railway and another superb example of Roundhouse's handbuilt live steam craftsmanship.
