Revolution Trains OO Gauge 'Alcan' PCA Tanks are now in stock!

14 different 4 packs now received into stock priced at £169.50 each

Prototype information:

43 PCA (PC020A) powder tanks were built by Powell Duffryn in 1988 for alumina traffic between North Blyth and Fort William on the West Highland line. They PCAs continue to be in use today.

There are 5 livery/branding versions available:

  • Original Alcan (1988-mid-2000s)
  • Debranded/faded Alcan (mid 2000s onwards)
  • RioTintoAlcan (2008-2016)
  • Lochaber Power/Liberty (2016-)
  • Alvance (2020-)

 

Model features:

  • Highly accurate OO gauge model, 1:76.2 scale on 16.5mm track
  • 14 different packs of 4 available (all packs have 4 unique numbers)
  • NEM coupling pockets
  • RP25 wheel sets designed for straightforward conversion to EM or P4 (26mm pinpoints on 2mm diameter axles)
  • optional ladders (fitted for appropriate versions - Alcan and debranded Alcan liveries have ladders fitted)
  • optional discharge chute plate
  • high levels of detailing with numerous separately fitted plastic and photo-etched parts
  • Minimum Radius 438mm (2nd Radius)
