Rapido plan to fill one of the biggest gaps in the N Gauge market with an all new range of 'Peaks'. This nickname covers three distinct classes, one of which is covered today:

The first models announced in this range are the head of the family the Class 44s (expect more news in the future on the Class 45/46.

Our new Class 44 features a variety of detail differences, including plated-over steps on the body side, removal of inner sandboxes and extra steps on the bogies. Our intention is to produce the definitive 'N' gauge Class 44.

The 'Three Peaks' will positively bristle with features, including directional lighting, Next18 DCC decoder socket, separately fitted handrails and windscreen wipers, 'plug in' discs so you can apply your chosen headcode and etched radiator fan grill with separate fan underneath.
