ModelU have made their latest 3D-printed figurine and accessories announcements for June 2026 - including a wide assortment of new products!
This latest announcement includes all sorts of handy new products suitable for layouts of all eras and regions - including new machine tools and machinists, garage mechanics, cattle packs and some new loco-specific crew packs too. All of these new models are set to arrive as soon as possible.
New Machine Tools & Machinists
ModelU are delighted to welcome a new collaboration with Richard Slate of Mudmagnet Models, with a selection of his designs now licensed as part of the Modelu range. The first release includes a range of often-requested machine tools, including lathes, pillar drills, milling machines, bandsaws, workbenches and more, along with a brand-new collection of machinists to populate your workshop scenes.
To make scene-building easier, we’ve also introduced two discounted machine shop bundles, ideal for creating busy engine shed, industrial or engineering workshop layouts.
New Classic & Modern Garage Mechanics
The latest releases also include two new sets of garage mechanics, perfect for workshop and servicing scenes across different eras. The classic set covers 1940s through to 1970s garage work, with period poses and details such as inspection boards, wire wheels and traditional workshop equipment. We’ve also added a modern workshop set, featuring mechanics with laptops, diagnostic equipment and impact drivers. Ideal for adding authentic activity to garages, depots, workshops and service bays.
Cattle Wagon Bundles
ModelU have also added a new discounted 9-cow bundle to the range, making it easier to populate your cattle wagons and add realistic livestock traffic to your layout.
Rapido Manning Wardle Crew Packs
ModelU are also pleased to release a new set of bespoke crew figures designed especially for the beautiful Rapido UK Manning Wardle L Class. The range includes both early and late crew options, helping you match the character and period of your locomotive. For the first time, these crews are also available in both our usual matt grey resin and full-colour resin, giving you even more choice when finishing your model.
