🗓️ Massive Accurascale Delivery Update

There’s a busy few months ahead from Accurascale, with the team providing fresh delivery updates across a number of highly anticipated projects due to arrive before the end of 2026.

From brand-new tooling and fresh locomotive batches to coaches, wagons and other long-awaited releases, plenty is now progressing towards delivery — with some models much closer than you might think.

So, here, we’re rounding up the latest expected arrival information from Accurascale, giving you a handy overview of what’s coming next and when you can expect to see these models landing at Rails of Sheffield. If you’ve already got something on pre-order — or you’ve been waiting to see how close a particular project is — read on for the latest updates!

First up in Accurascale’s latest delivery update are the newly tooled OO Gauge Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST steam locomotives, which are now getting very close indeed.

The first batch has arrived in the UK with Accurascale and is currently going through final checks before dispatch to retailers. That means we’re expecting the first models to arrive with us at Rails during September.

These rugged industrial steam locomotives have been eagerly anticipated, and with the models now physically in the country, the wait is nearly over. If you’ve already got one on pre-order, it shouldn’t be too much longer now — and if not, there’s still time to secure your preferred version ahead of arrival.

Next up are Accurascale’s latest OO Gauge BR Mk2B and Mk2C coaches, and these are now even closer to arrival.

Accurascale has confirmed that the full batch is now in its warehouse, with sorting underway and deliveries due to begin from early next week. That means we should start seeing the first models arriving at Rails very soon.

Demand has already been strong, with some versions sold out on pre-order, so if there’s a particular livery or coach you still need for your formation, it’s worth securing one before remaining availability tightens further.

Single Coaches: £79.95 each

Then we've got the second run of Accurascale’s OO Gauge Class 50 diesel locomotives, which is now officially on the move.

Accurascale has confirmed that the models are currently in transit, with the containers expected to arrive in the UK on 18th September. Once they've been processed we expect to see these by the end of the month or early October.This latest run brings another selection of these hugely popular English Electric diesels back to the range, and with arrival now only a matter of weeks away, it’s a good time to secure your preferred version before stock starts tightening.

Also on the way is the second run of Accurascale’s OO Gauge GWR 78xx Manor Class 4-6-0 steam locomotives, with the latest batch now expected to reach the UK during mid-October 2026.

The Manor Class has proved hugely popular with Great Western and BR-era modellers, combining plenty of main line presence with a more compact 4-6-0 design that makes them a versatile choice for a wide variety of layouts.With the next batch now pencilled in for mid-October, there’s still time to secure your preferred version before the models arrive and remaining allocations start to tighten.

Next on the delivery schedule is Run 2 of Accurascale’s OO Gauge Class 60 diesel locomotives, with another batch of these heavy freight favourites now getting very close.

Accurascale has advised that the models are in the final stages of production in China, with the shipment currently expected to reach the UK by Late October/ Early November 2026.That puts the Class 60s right in the middle of what’s shaping up to be a very busy autumn for Accurascale, with several major locomotive projects due within a matter of weeks of each other.
