🔥 Lots of New Arrivals from Hornby in OO Gauge

We're pleased to let you know that a massive range of new Hornby OO Gauge products have just arrived in stock including a selection of new steam locomotives, diesels and rolling stock covering multiple eras, regions and budgets!

Now available from Hornby are these two new releases from their "Great Railway Engineers Collection"  including the LNER Class A4 4-6-2 "Sir Nigel Gresley" and LMS Princess Coronation Class 4-6-2 "Coronation".These models mark 150 years since the birth of two famous railway engineers - Sir Nigel Gresley and Sir William Stanier. These resplendent and iconic locomotives come with special collectors packaging as well as the relevant figurine of each engineer!

Also in stock now from Hornby is this new edition of the GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive in OO Gauge, depicting No.5071 "Spitfire" in BR green with early emblem. This loco was renamed as " Spitfire" in 1940 to celebrate the aircraft's pivotal role in the Battle of Britain, and, Hornby have chosen this example for their latest model as we commemorate 90 years of the Supermarine Spitfire in 2026.

In more Western Region news, we have also received this duo of new Hornby OO Gauge GWR Class 51xx/ 61xx "Large Prairie" 2-6-2T steam locomotives into stock There are two new versions available to order including 6126 in BR green (with large lettering) and 5153 in BR green with late crest.

For Railroad fans and budget conscious modellers we've also received this new edition of the Railroad Range Class 08 diesel shunter in OO Gauge, this time depicting  08256 in the classic BR blue livery. The locomotive this model example is based on started life as 13326 in November 1956, having been completed at Darlington, and was new to New England, Peterborough. It later served at Sheffield Darnall, Tinsley, Finsbury Park, Hitchin, Startford and finally, from May 1968 at Colchester.

Two new additions to Hornby's range of Civil Engineers rolling stock have also arrived too including a new  ZCV 'Clam'  and ZCV 'Tope'  wagon in the popular Civil Engineering 'Dutch' grey and yellow colour scheme.  Perfect for expanding your existing rakes or starting a new infrastructure maintenance train.

Finally for OO Gauge. modern image fans will be pleased to see the arrival of this LNER Intercity heritage liveried BR Mark 4 Driving Van Trailer (DVT) in OO Gauge!  This new edition of the DVT is perfect to pair with the recently released Class 91 electric locomotive and Mark 4 coaches in the same livery to reproduce this eye-catching set that is still in use on the East Coast Main Line.
