VIEW HERE Heljan O Gauge Class 47

Expected next from Heljan in November 2021 is the O Gauge Class 47. New from the ground up, these highly-detailed Brush Type 4s feature a wealth of improvements over our previous Class 47 released more than a decade ago. Three variants cover 1960s/70s locos with glazed headcode panels and steam heating equipment, 1980s/90s freight/departmental Class 47s with plated headcode panels, headlights and no heating equipment and 1980s/90s Class 47/4s with with plated headcode panels, headlights and electric train heating (ETH) equipment. No fewer than 11 liveries have been produced, ranging from original two-tone green to InterCity and Network SouthEast (see below). Standard features include LED lighting, sprung buffers/screw link couplings, a DCC Ready chassis with screw terminal PCB, twin motors/flywheels, fully detailed cab interiors and a wealth of additional detailing parts, including snowploughs and a choice of headcode panel inserts. Models priced at £594.15 with FREE UK SHIPPING.

VIEW HERE Heljan O Gauge Class 60

Following the ‘47s’ will be a very colourful rerun of O gauge Class 60s, scheduled for delivery in late-November. These imposing Brush-built heavy freight diesels feature a wealth of fine detail and will be offered in a much wider range of liveries than the previous release. Seven models due in total, with two being distributed by Gaugemaster. All available from Rails, prices starting at £551.65 again with FREE UK SHIPPING.

VIEW HERE Heljan OO Gauge IGA Cargowaggon flats

Also due soon is a new batch of the OO Gauge IGA Cargowaggon Flats. Pristine and weathered expected, with typical timber/pipe loads or without a load, these models are suitable for air-braked freight operations from the 1980s onwards. This latest production run brings the story right up to date with a pair of IGB barrier wagons in RailAdventure livery, used for deliveries of new trains from mainland Europe to the UK. Finally, the wagons will be available once again in Corus Rail blue. Prices starting at £50.96.

Further Project Updates

Several other new models are currently progressing towards completion. Delivery schedules are currently uncertain due to the issues mentioned above, but we hope to see these models in Q4 2021/Q1 2022.
