We recently hosted the team from Dapol for their FIRST-EVER Takeover Day at Rails of Sheffield! 

As usual for one of these events, we recorded a video interview on the day showcasing all of Dapol's latest product samples and they certainly have plenty of exciting new updates to share with you in OO Gauge, N Gauge and O Gauge!

Dapol recently notified us that a huge range of over 110 new models are due to arrive with us soon between August and September 2025 across OO Gauge, N Gauge and O Gauge - including the next run of Class 142 'Pacers' in N , the highly anticipated Lionheart Trains GWR 55xx steam locomotives in O Gauge and much more besides!

There's not long to go until our next EXCLUSIVE release in the Dapol Black Label range arrives into stock! We recently took a look at the final production samples for our OO Gauge GWR Diagram Q13 Inspection Saloons - which are currently on the way to the UK and expected to arrive in stock this August .

Dapol have just received some new decorated bodyshells as well as some fully built up and working samples for their long awaited newly tooled Class 66 diesel locomotive in O Gauge!  This comprehensive and highly specced new model is to be released in one of seven liveries including our own EXCLUSIVE model of 66779 'Evening Star' in GBRf heritage BR green livery. 

On top of this Dapol also gave us a quick demonstration of the 'Spatial Sound' system installed on their DCC Sound models - which you can see in our new video above!
