Dapol have just announced a new batch of their popular OO Gauge MJA twin bogie aggregate open wagons!

A selection of six new double packs are to be produced in both Freightliner 'Heavy Haul' green and GB Railfreight blue colour schemes with fresh running numbers - which makes them perfect for epxanding your existing rakes or creating a new train.

Dapol are expecting a quick turnaround on these wagons and we hope to have them in stock during Q1 2027.

The fleet of MJA wagons were produced exclusively for Freightliner in the early 2000s. Primarily used for the transport of stone, minerals and aggregates, the wagons are almost always operated in pairs with buffers at one end and a bar coupling used at the other end. These vehicles are still widely used today, including on workings between Mountsorrel to Luton and Croft to Harwich. GB Railfreight have taken ownership of a number of MJA wagons and operate them alongside Freightliner.
