Bachmann have just revealed their first new selection of items for 2026 including some exciting new toolings and all sorts of re-runs in OO Gauge and N Gauge across the Bachmann Branchline, Graham Farish, EFE Rail and Scenecraft Ranges!

Perhaps the hottest announcements of this new catalogue is a newly tooled model of the LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 steam locomotive in OO Gauge!  This all new range includes various liveries such as the extremely popular preserved locomotive 'Bahamas'. 

The LMS Jubilee returns in this new and improved form, with new tooling to depict the later-built locomotives with their sloping firebox throatplates and longer fireboxes. With the addition of a firebox lighting system and upgraded to Plux22 DCC compatibility, the Branchline Jubilees  tell the story of these express passenger locomotives from their LMS days right through to today.

Another new tooling for OO Gauge is this all new range of freelance 54' bogie coaches from EFE Rail!  

Following the delivery of EFE Rail’s OO Scale Isle of Wight Coach sets, these highly acclaimed models now form the basis of a new range of 54ft non-corridor coaches which will be available as individual vehicles in a selection of colour schemes. At the time these models were conceived, models of bogie coaches, authentic or otherwise, did not exist for many of the pre-grouping railway companies, and so the liveries of several early-twentieth century railway companies have been applied to these ornate vehicles. Third Class, Composite and Brake Third coaches will each be available in Lined Teak, LBSCR Raw Umber, S&DJR Lined Blue and CR Plum & Off-White.

Moving over to some re-runs, Bachmann have announced some new editions of the iconic LMS 10000/ 10001 prototype diesel locomotives in OO Gauge! This follows on from the reveal of our EXCLUSIVE edition of 10000 in black with chrome LMS lettering. Bachmann's general range models include BR black and BR green versions.

2026 will also see the return of the super popular Bachmann GCR 9J/ LNER J11 0-6-0 steam locomotive in OO Gauge - available for the first time in the general range in Great Central lined black! This loco will pair beautifully with our EXCLUSIVE Sonic Models LNER Class A5 locomotives as well as a huge selection of wagons from Rapido.

Also returning this year is new editions of both the Midland Railway 3835 Class and LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 steam locomotives in OO Gauge - now available in a tranche of new guises covering usage from the 1910s right through to the 1960s!

Bachmann have also announced a huge range of new wagons for this catalogue, with some returning favourites which haven't been included in the range for some time such as their popular 'COVHOPs', POA Mineral and Scrap Wagons, ICA Open Wagons and more!

Heading over to N Gauge - EFE Rail have just announced this exciting all new model of the Class 23 'Baby Deltic' - available for the first time as a truly high detail model in N Gauge. 

Whilst the fleet of just ten locomotives had a chequered career spanning little more than a decade, the EFE Rail models have a brighter future and are produced to modern standards boasting features like directional lighting, a Next18 DCC decoder socket and space for a speaker to be fitted. Two body types have been produced to depict the locomotives as-built with their disc headcodes, and after they had been modified to have central headcode boxes fitted instead. A selection of models will be available spanning the working lives of the real locomotives, from introduction to their final days in traffic.

The ever popular BR Class 101 twin-car diesel multiple units are set to return in 2026 - including three new guises - BR green with speed whiskers, BR blue and Regional Railways liveries! These units were the most numerous of the first generation and saw usage across the length and breadth of the UK. A must have for your collection!

Also returning this year in N Gauge is a range of Mark 1 Travelling Post Office Vans - available in Royal Mail red and BR blue/grey colour schemes. Perfect for recreating these fascinating mail train services on your layout!
