Converted from Bogie Bolster Es in the 1980s, the Turbots had low sided bodies made up of three drop-side doors on each side. and angled plates on each end to prevent spillage onto the drawgear. Classified as YCVs under TOPS, the ‘Turbots’ became synonymous with engineer’s trains making our EFE Rail model an essential item for period modellers.
