The train station of Rothenstadt was originally located on the railroad line Regensburg-Weiden. After its dissolution only a flagstop remained which also no longer exists today. The Rothenstadt station buildings, consisting of train station and freight shed, were constructed according to old plans. The enclosed figure set (era 1\/2) is based on a historic photograph showing the original people at the station. The building is equipped with filigree rain gutters, downspouts and insulators for the power supply. At the rear there is an annex of a small wooden shed.
